Pick and choose your battles, he said.
Be the willow tree, and not the oak, another said.
I don't know what this means to me yet.

Today's a really nice day. I went for a long walk to listen to music, smoke a joint, and think and reminisce by the deserted bayou behind the houses. I had such a strong urge to walk for a long time today. At the end, I got caught in the rain. And it was awesome. It feels so good, and looks so strange and beautiful. Though, I had this nagging suspicion that the lightning was very close. Sergio was enjoying the rain also, in the back under our new umbrella, and didn't hear me ringing the bell for five minutes. I'm soaked, but it feels nice. And now I can watch it out my window. Man...I need a fucking job.

"The oldest emotion in the world may be that of being moved; but to describe it--just to name it--must have been like trying to catch something invisible.
(Then again, the oldest feeling in the world might simply have been confusion.)"-NK

Aw Max :)
