the gaping hole

She's gone. God wanted her. The process took too long.. it was not fair. But the end was just and it was long overdue. Words cannot describe her felicity right now- of this I am sure. But down here there is sorrow. Down here there is always sorrow. But for Granddaddy.. it is painful. Losing one's lifelong love is not a wound that may ever be mended. I only pray that his pain will soon be gone, also. But, in a way, he is lucky. He found his true love- a quest which many have yet to fulfill.
